My consultations are based on Ayurvedic principles that can help prevent health problems before they arise. While modern medical practices focus mainly on symptoms, Ayurveda addresses the root cause of illness with an emphasis on prevention of disease.
The Ayurvedic lifestyle is focused on living in tune with the rhythms of Nature to maintain optimal health. I will recommend a daily routine, nourishing foods, and balancing herbs, all based on your current state of balance or imbalance.
According to Ayurveda, it is the inner intelligence of the body that prevents disease and promotes good health. This inner intelligence is expressed through the three Doshas- called Vata, Pitta and Kapha – which regulate different functions of the mind and body.
When Vata, Pitta and Kapha are in balance, they promote good health and longevity. When the three Doshas are out of balance, they produce discomfort and disease.
During your consultation, we’ll assess the underlying state of balance or imbalance of the three Doshas, and then suggest ways to restore balance.

- A follow up visit or call after four weeks.
I’ll teach you which foods to eat, and the right time of day or season to eat them. There could be certain foods you’re eating now that are actually causing a chronic health problem. Or perhaps your food is not getting the proper spicing for your body’s needs. Even a small change can make a big difference in how you look and feel.
My goal is to help you become more self-sufficient in caring for your own health. With proper guidance and education, you can get in tune with your own body and your own needs.
